You're My Fate - Part 4

Guys, you know where I stopped!

Yes, he pulled my chair toward him. I could hear my own heartbeat as he looked into my eyes and asked, “What do you think about marriage?” I nodded my head and said, “I don’t have any idea, but it is everything I dreamt of.” After hearing that, he replied that marriage is a tragedy. I looked at him and said I didn’t think it would be so with the right person. With a smile, he gave me a gentle kiss on my forehead. I love the way he kisses me every time; I can feel the warmth in his kiss.

As you wondered where everyone else in the house was, we realized there was no one around—just us. Everyone was occupied with their own tasks. After that, he served me some warm water, which had now become somewhat hot to drink. Then we planned for lunch. We went out to eat since it was almost 2 p.m. and we couldn’t find many options. We ended up having sambar rice, which I’m not a fan of, but it was okay since we had no other choices.

After lunch, we went back to our PG because he had some work to do. Yes, he’s quite the multitasker—I forgot to mention that he is a cinephile and loves cinema more than anything else.

My health condition had worsened, so I went home and my mother took complete care of me. During that time, I received a video call from Siva. I got up from the bed and went straight to the terrace to see his face. I reassured him that I was okay, and then we had a chat. I showed him around my house.

After a week, I returned to the city, only to be met with a mountain of pending office tasks, which made me restless for another week. I didn’t have enough time for him during that period. Then, Sivam called and planned a weekend trip for us. I agreed to meet him, and we looked forward to the exciting trip.

Since I was new to the place, I kept looking at the map on Google Maps and noticed heart-shaped lines. I showed them to him, and he laughed. It was almost night when we arrived—my first time traveling out of my city rather than my hometown. I was nervous and excited at the same time.

We reached around 10 p.m., stayed at a lovely place, and had some food. I really loved the place and the food, and a little bit of love for Sivam. We talked about where to visit the next morning, as we both love exploring new places and trying new foods.

The next morning, I woke up before Sivam and started to have my tea. I made a cup for him as well, but he was hesitant to drink it. I could see on his face that he finally admitted he dislikes tea and coffee. I was surprised—I had never met anyone who hated tea before, especially since I am such a big lover of chai. It was so disappointing 😟...
