You're My Fate - Part 16
“The Silence She Left” (Sivan's POV)
It was just another morning.
At least, that’s what Sivan told himself as he scrolled through his phone
But something felt…off.
Quiet.
Too quiet.
No message from Rasiya.
No forwarded reel.
No sarcastic good morning with an eye-roll emoji.
Just nothing.
He blinked and opened her chat.
Gone.
Disappeared like mist.
He searched her name.
Blocked.
Suddenly the silence wasn’t peaceful anymore.
It echoed.
It screamed.
He tapped her Instagram—nothing.
Checked his followers—gone.
She had erased herself from his world like she had never been there.
But she had.
God, she had.
She was the voice he didn’t know he needed.
the patience he didn’t deserve,
the storm he couldn't understand.
And now?
Now, he finally felt the weight of her absence.
It wasn’t dramatic.
It wasn’t loud.
She left the way oceans pull back—
to find peace, not to punish.
Sivan remembered how she used to say,
"One day, I won’t beg to be heard anymore."
He thought she was bluffing.
She wasn’t.
Now all he had were the echoes of unread messages.
unsaid apologies,
and that one picture of her he never deleted
because even the algorithm knew
He wasn’t ready to let go.
He wanted to text.
To call.
To say, “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
But pride, fear, and shame tied his hands.
Rasiya had walked out of the chapter.
while he was still rereading the first line.
He didn’t know what hurt more—
her silence…
or the fact that this time,
It was permanent.
